Ted Full Movie 2012 <Plot>

John Bennett (Mark Wahlberg) is a perfectly normal Boston native whose childhood wish for his teddy bear to come to life comes true. The bear, Ted (voiced by Seth MacFarlane), remains his best friend from the age of 8 into his adulthood. Twenty-seven years later, conflict emerges when Ted's irresponsible and vulgar slacker lifestyle comes in the way of John's attempt to embrace adulthood and his love-interest Lori (Mila Kunis). While not an exact reproduction of the toy, the film's timeline coincides with the introduction of Teddy Ruxpin, the talking teddy bear.

To sum this up nicely, if you enjoy (and can tolerate) the Family Guy brand and the times they do miss their jokes, then there's no reason why you couldn't enjoy this. While the third act really bogged down the entire picture with a boring subplot that actually bares minimal continuity to the first half, I can't deny it's a fun ride and a great debut from Seth MacFarlane.

MacFarlane's directorial debut is a live-action effort, with computer animation handled by visual effects facility Tippett Studio. MacFarlane wrote the screenplay with his Family Guy colleagues Alec Sulkin and Wellesley Wild.The opening crawl for the Family Guy episode "It's a Trap!", released on DVD on December 21, 2010, alludes to Ted in the sentence: "But Fox suddenly had dollar signs in their eyes, and they said, 'Seth, if you don't do Jedi, we're not gonna let you leave to go direct your movie.'" MacFarlane announced the movie in the February 10, 2011, episode of Conan.

Filming began in May 2011 in Boston and Swampscott, Massachusetts.

The Ted (2012) film was set for a July 13, 2012, release in North America, but was pushed up to June 29 after the delay of G.I. Joe: Retaliation. The Ted (2012) film is due to be released in the United Kingdom on August 1, 2012 and in Australia on July 5, 2012.
